Recommended solution for Shell conflicts?

What is the recommendation to fix conflicts? for example, pwd was working before, but now I get this error:

The term 'C:\Program Files\coreutils\cmd\pwd.cmd' is not recognized as a name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or executable program.
Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

I think it is because it conflicts with the CMD version according to this table:

Are you using PowerShell 7.4 or later? This looks like you aren't.

And that error message comes up when all you do is type pwd and press enter?

Can you also give me the output of:

Get-Module PSReadLine -ListAvailable | Format-Table Version,Path

Interesting, I upgraded to PowerShell 7.6.2, re-installed coreutils and it is working fine now.
The question still stands though, when there is a conflict which one wins?

The PowerShell aliases, naturally. That's why we patch PSReadLine.
