How to use?

Bit new on this end of things. It doesn't have the UPLUGIN file, how do I actually build it as I don't get any option to build it in visual studio if I try to open it there? Thanks for any help.

Hi! This is a module only which is supposed to be put inside a plugin. In this particular case HIDUE is a remnant of my less experienced days of working with 3rd party libraries, and the only plugin used it was OpenUnrealSpaceMouse. That plugin however since switched to properly use hidapi and managed through Nuke.Unreal. So this repository will be deprecated.

Oh okay, I was trying to add suppourt for nintendo pro switch controllers without having to go thru nintendos B.S, and this came up as a requriment when trying to use JoyShockLibrary4Unreal. Anytime I'd go to build with just joyshock, it would say it required HIDUE as a plug in as well.

oooh I didn't know others were relying on this! thanks for highlighting, they should have just submoduled this repo and they'd be good to go. but yeah in that case, just download/clone this repository and put it into JoyShockLibrary4Unreal//Source folder. Unfortunately I don't currently have capacity for more support on this subject, but tell me how it went

ah the original fork found here is using Hidapi as nature intended, I don't believe you would need HIDUE there anymore, they just didn't update the docs.
