i have a branch for packaging that for homebrew/flatpak/aur but features/fixes/improvements are prioritized for now :)

Perhaps consider a nix derivation as well! I'd be more than happy to help maintain it (and you get the benefits of deterministic builds 😜). I've got a package definition working in my local install, here, which would be pretty trivial to upstream.
