Bug description
i had this situation when had long name icons on desktop,and tried to change icon horizontal gap for this to look normal and even if im doing it in minimal lenght for those icons to look normal, the other icons that have less text look crazy empty and like having too much gap
i think it will be good to system been reworked, as kde or xfce, having icons and when ure selecting them they take squares and look similar and taking right place
Steps to reproduce
1.open desktop
2.having long text icons
3.seeing a bad realization
4.increasing horisontal gap
5. seeing problem with icons having small text
Expected behavior
having nice and consistant desktop with right icon spacing, as kde or xfce
Additional information
for xfce and kde to see this is just needed to select multiple icons and its visible
