fn-key hold-to-record popup closes prematurely (~2-3s) while key still held

Bug: When using the fn key as the record hotkey, holding it down triggers the mini-recorder popup, but the popup auto-closes after roughly 2-3 seconds even while fn is still physically held. Recording stops prematurely as if the key were released, when it wasn't.

Expected: Popup/recording should stay active for the entire duration fn is held, only stopping on actual key release.

Repro steps:

1. Set hotkey to fn in Settings.
2. Press and hold fn in any app/text field.
3. Keep holding, don't release.
4. Observe: popup closes on its own ~2-3s in, before releasing the key.
