Is Framework 7 mandatory?

Projects generated with this template use net7.0
Since I do not have it, I change this to 6.0, and everything seems to be working fine.

Is the choice of 7 intentional? Will there be any problems if 6 is used?

I suspect that was neglect on my part when I choose defaults

Release of 7 will happen on 2022-11-8, which is a less than a month from now, so I would say it is not a problem.
Maybe it would be a good idea to add notion what is the minimally required version of Framwork?

There no hard requirement on Net 7 really, so I better fix template or change defaults. Let me take a closer look
