none of the current layouts supports the built in gamepad. the l2 and r2 tirggers along with both joy sticks do not register. tested on kernel 7.1 stable latest with the later oxp drivers submitted in mailing list #debian

weird. G1 had been tested. maybe the new hid-oxp driver is doing stuff it shouldn't

if you can help me out it would mean the world. i spent alot this and i have my own distro based on vannila debian and i installed the lated kernel 7.1.1 which has oxp already in there. i really want to use my joy sticks

Attach logs using journalctl -b

This is weird, it should only include the current boot. Perhaps debian weirdness. journalctl -b 0 maybe?

The hhd service is not visible, nor are the kernel logs. this is weird. is there an oxp-hid driver running? Can you disable it? You are not using inputplumber, correct?
