[Bug]: Module Management Panel is empty

Obsidian Version : 1.13.7
Sync Engine Version : 3.0.5
OS : Windows 25H2 build 26200.8893

Observed behavior : The module management panel is empty. In the sources I have the follwoing source : https://sync.consensia.cc/modules.json. I can access this link on my browser. But the panel is empty, preventing me from setting up the WebDAV sync.

Expected Outcome

Have a list of modules.

EDIT: It running this on my work computer, it seems the proxy (well not exactly the proxy) is blocking it. From the browser I get a warning and I can still load the page. It seems I can't load from Obsidian itself. Currently reworking by creating a github repo just to host the file, but the modules are hosted in the same repo so it still doesnt work.

This is really weird, module binaries and the source are hosted on GitHub pages, and I can confirm they are accessible inside Obsidian under normal network conditions. Maybe GitHub has some special restrictions on your IP or your network is blocking something?

There should be no warning when accessing a GitHub pages website. What's the warning shown in your browser?

I think the issue must be the domain name sync.consensia.cc which is flagged by the internet security filter of my work computer. Once I hit the "load the page anyway", I dont get the warning until 24 hours later. I'm trying to see if I can edit the host file of the computer to rewrite sync.consensia.cc to hesprs.github.io if that makes sense.

I think is the TLD .cc that causes the issue, can you try to access other .cc domains to see if that is the cause?

If you are trying to edit the host file, you need to replace sync.consensia.cc to hesprs.github.io/sync-engine. But I guess it could not work since you cannot really interpolate with a pathname?

The modules will load but they are hosted to your sync.consensia.cc url so it's not really solved. An alternative hosting directly on GitHub would definitely solve it.

Deployed gh-pages branch that hosts built files directly on GitHub, try using source https://github.com/hesprs/sync-engine/raw/refs/heads/gh-pages/modules-alternative.json and see whether that solves your problem.

Sync Engine chooses GitHub pages since its CDN and rate limiting are far better than GitHub itself. Users in countries like China, Russia, and Iran have documented inaccessibility against GitHub without proxies.
