Dev setup

I am implementing some features in a fork of KZones, and is wondering what setup others are using to do development (IDE, QT editor stuff like that)?

I use VS Code and run the Makefile to reload KWin after making changes (only seems to work on X11) and QT Widgets Designer to edit the config interface.
