Validation not happening ...

.... in one specific case, for a number field, even though the validation flag is set to true (but for other number fields, it does happen !!! )

Interestingly, the multipleChoiceMore fieldType validation is failing now, which was working earlier :-(

Behaviour appears to be random ...
