This one is like the earlier issue that I commented on: Not every code example shown in articles is in a sample app. Most are in-text examples only. Usually, a sample app is mentioned in passing when it has a demo of code that would require a lot of setup for the reader in their own local test app.

It might seem like it would be easy to cross-link directly to version-specific code samples ... these are MICROSOFT docs after all 😄 ... but no ... unfortunately, our article versioning doesn't support wildcard versioning in sample links, where I could have one link that fills in the version number depending on the version of the article that the dev is reading. I really wish we had that!

We've also experienced natural sample progression over the years in sample names/paths that would require multiple sample links anyway even if I had wildcard versioning in links.

My general advice is to take a quick look at the two main example samples (BlazorSample_BlazorWebApp or BlazorSample_BlazorWebAssembly) if you're looking for a demo that isn't mentioned. If it isn't there, then whip up your own local test app and place the code from the article's guidance into the local sample.

I'm going to use your issue here to make some improvements to the sample app section in the Fundamentals overview. I'd like it to tell readers ...

• Not every article code example is in the sample apps.
• Most of the article code examples can be dropped into a local test app for a demonstration.
