as a improved fork of atom-sync optimized for windows i still maintain my repo.
(i use atom-sync-cygwin daily because atom-sync is not maintained for atom 1.17+ any more)

i renamed my repo to "atom-sync-cygwin" so that you can easily find and install it with the atom-package manager as an alternative to "atom-sync". also it works with windows.
(i use atom on mac and windows for work in parallel, project team members use windows and mac)
atom-sync-cygwin is compatible with mac and windows (probably also linux) .
