Pilot request: test PatchGate in non-blocking shadow mode #4

Description

@daichunghy

PatchGate is looking for two public repositories to participate in a consented, non-blocking shadow pilot after the beta candidate is published.

PatchGate evaluates whether a pull request has the trusted policy, commit-bound checks, ownership and human boundaries required before a maintainer spends review time. The pilot is intended to test usefulness and noise, not to change merge eligibility.

A suitable repository may have:

  • GitHub Actions and protected branches
  • CODEOWNERS or sensitive paths
  • multiple checks, generated files or a monorepo boundary
  • a maintainer willing to review the receipt and shadow distribution

Participation would involve a short setup session, observation of non-blocking results, and feedback on false blocks, unknown causes, remediation clarity and delivery noise. The project will not request repository secrets, execute pull-request code in the privileged metadata lane, or enable a required check without explicit maintainer consent.

If you are interested, describe your repository shape and the PR governance problem you would like to test. Please do not post private repository details or security-sensitive information here.
