It now installed. But its stuck in an update loop

It now installed. But its stuck in an update loop

To get out of the update loop, I added update-on-exit 100 to the app.cfg file, and once it started, I made sure to disable updates in the settings.

I just got the exact same issue on Kubuntu 25.10
I also tried the no runtime package with no luck either.

same here - I am new to Linux and I am trying to make Snake work for the past hour but I am not able to - at the moment I am also stuck at this issue.
