thanks for your initiative and the approach.
I have installed on a fresh kubuntu 24.04 and marimo in a virtual environment. After having cloned cecode I run

uvx marimo edit --sandbox ../cecode/src/cecode/eurocode_7_1/clause_6_5_bearing_resistance.py

from the activated environment and receive the output:

        ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
KeyError: '\\pi \\tan \\phi'

Any hints welcome.

Thanks for creating an issue!

I've just run the command

uvx marimo edit --sandbox src/cecode/eurocode_7_1/clause_6_5_bearing_resistance.py

From the root of the cecode repo. Then uv created a new temporary virtual env, and the marimo notebook runs properly, so I can't produce the issue you're raising.

This project really was just a quick experiment. How did stumble upon it, and what would you like to achieve with cecode?
Besides, have you heard about / used CalcPad: https://calcpad.eu?
The idea of cecode is to create something similar to CalcPad, but then in Python and using the fantastic marimo notebooks.

Installed uv using pipx, changed into cecode repo. Then I got

      cannot be used.

I altered .python-version to 3.11 and the it runs. The KeyError remains unfortunately. Tried also uvx marimo tutorial intro which works flawlessly. Hm.

Stumbled over cecode using eurocode + Python as search terms on github. Am looking to play around with a Eurocode toolbox in my spare time. Cannot create myself, but only reuse, being just a hydraulic engineer. So cannot contribute to development. Hearing of CalcPad for the first time.
