BKS keystore for running FTPS server on android occasionaly works flawlessly

I've managed to get FTPS working sometimes with a BKS keystore on android. Everything works until the directory listing and then it says that there is a too long tls packet received. For some odd reason, the FTPS connection sometimes does show the directory listing and then everything works right. but after just a recompile and new test it would be receiving incorrect TLS packets.

Does any one know here, what can be the reason of this seemingly random behaviour?

do I have to specify something?

I've done a 5 minute embedding service tutorial and everything does work ok occasionally, but most of the times it fails mysteriously.

Hi,

I think the pb is wit the underlying MINA 2.2.4 library, if you are using the latest FtpServer release.

I've had this problem with different versions of the ftp server with it's different versions of apache mina. I've tested everything I could think of at my end. The keystore is legit and is not corrupted. Strange thing is I always can get a handshake done and login. But when it should do the directory listing just sometimes it fails with an invalid TLS packet. (I test this with filezilla).

The thing is, that I use a BKS keystore instead of the JKS keystore the tutorial uses, because android only supports BKS. Could there be something going awry because the keystore is not JKS?
