Support Sling Initial Content

Thanks for your work.
In our projects we use Sling Initial Content instead of FileVault Content for the components.
Can you add same features for this type of content?

Thank you for the feature request.

I would like to ask you what are your main use cases? Editing JSON files? Header entries? Something else?

It would help me to focus on what really matters to users and skip less frequently used features for now.

Hi Karol,

to define components in Sling Initial Content it would be great to have

• same HTL support like Syntax Highlighting, Code Completion ...
• content synchronization from JSON/HTL into the JCR
  like for content packages.

Second point looks a little bit more tricky, as it needs to convert from JSON to a supported format.
