<h1>The ABS Language<a class="headerlink" href="#the-abs-language" title="Link to this heading">¶</a></h1>
<p>ABS is a language for Abstract Behavioral Specification, which
combines implementation-level specifications with verifiability,
high-level design with executability, and formal semantics with
practical usability. ABS is a concurrent, object-oriented, modeling
language that features functional data-types.</p>
