The app crashes upon opening, and reinstalling doesn't help.

Does YACReader does the same?

YACReader works normally.

@dxc176 did that happen from the start or recently?
If this was not the case from the beginning, I'd suggest deleting local configuration data.

On Windows

• Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog, and type %localappdata%
• Find YACReader folder and delete it
• Reinstall YACReader

On Linux
if you installed it through Flatpak

• Run rm -rf ~/.var/app/com.yacreader.YACReader
• And flatpak uninstall com.yacreader.YACReader

and reinstall it
