It was working at first, Idk how it just stopped out of nowhere.
Is there a way I can find out what caused the issue?

I get the same on fabric 1.20.1, nothing in the logs, i guess it's a mod conflict, it worked before and now it does not, i did update some mods and change some, so that is properly why.. Will narrow it down when i get time

Yaa my modpack is pretty large, but I am sure i can narrow it down

I got the same issue with my modpack w 200 mods, im on fabric 1.20.1 It was working before but they only play the poof animation now.

@AffinityXOfficial Thanks! In your case, it's an incompatibility with wet-sand. It specifies some blocks in the #minecraft:sand tag (used by Spawn Animation to know when to play sand particles and sounds), that apparently don't exist. This also breaks some other Minecraft tags like supports_cactus, camel_spawnable_on, etc. and with them the vanilla functionality. Please report this to the developer of the mod

Edit: In the description the developer of wet-sand writes "Current 1.20.1 beta release doesnt have wet suspicious sands, as I am having some issues keeping its content between state changes.", so this will hopefully be fixed soon
