Using bashdb in emacs?

Has anyone any experience getting emacs GUD (Grand Unified Debugger) to work with bashdb? If not, this would be a great feature to add.

A long long long while ago I spent a lot of effort to get it in. And then when I saw how difficult it was to maintain I spent an equal effort to pull it back out.

Instead, use realgud from ELPA or MELPA.
