"Error starting pipeline." with Python examples

I'm using the DMM 37UX250-ML with a Raspberry Pi 4. I can run tcam-capture from the terminal and get an image and see other info with tcam-ctrl, so I know the camera is connected. However, when I try to use the Python examples I keep getting "Error starting pipeline." when running Tis.start_pipeline(). I tried manually defining the device and using the Tis.select_device() function to select it from the terminal with the same results.

It appears to be when camera triggering is turned on that this happens (been trying to run "Save an Image on Trigger" example).

You may try the pipeline with "gst-launch-1.0". It gives some error messages, e.g. "not negotiated. error -4". That means, you set a video format, which can not be used in the pipeline.
You also get debug information, if you set the environment variable
export GST_DEBUG=5.

as shown at https://www.theimagingsource.com/en-us/documentation/tiscamera/environment.html?highlight=gst_debug#gst-debug

In trigger mode, the pipeline may not start, because it wants a frame to be sent through. But this issue should have been solved with tiscamera 1.1.
