We would like to have a simple web interface so that everyone can connect into a device via their phone without installing any additional app. Something like a web interface on the home routers.
Describe the solution you'd like
- Basic authentication with username and password
- Very simple menu, similar to Tasmota firmware
- Low memory footprint to run on as many devices as we can provide
Additional context
We can leverage the existing work from embedControl JavaScript API. This API just needs to be polished, moved into a separate library and for the UI we should create a new code. Something not as heavy as React components. The TcMenu tree is intact, just the representation has to be simplified.
