Error in a command in the Quick Start section

When running the command ‘ddev typo3 setup --server-type=other --driver=mysqli --host=db --port=3306 --dbname=db --username=db --password=db --create-site’, a error message appears that ‘--create-site’ requires a value.

@mkiebele With which TYPO3 version did you try this exactly? Should be fixed in v14. The problem here is that --create-site would expect the Site URL. It's not a "true/false" actually.

Thanks for bringing this up and taking a look!

I checked the TYPO3 Core codebase (SetupCommand): --create-site is defined as InputOption::VALUE_REQUIRED (both in TYPO3 v14 and in the main git branch). Because of this definition, Symfony Console always expects a site URL value when this option is passed.

It turns out there was a small omission in the Linux quickstart example (_installation_linux.sh), whereas the DDEV snippet _installation_ddev.sh already correctly included the <siteurl> parameter.

I have created Pull Request #852 to update _installation_linux.sh accordingly so both code examples are consistent.
