wrong k with default placement after first turn

In a human vs. computer game with default ship placement, after the first turn (when only 1 of 4 cells of the 1x4 ship is hit), the human player is allowed to fire only 3 shots instead of 4.

Because of cntship = -1

It looks like this is fixed. However, without the old dumb computer AI, it is difficult to check. Maybe time to add automatic testing?
