Typo - Chp 22, Sec 1, three (not four) positions being compared #532

@nicholasjhorton

Description

@nicholasjhorton

We would like to discern whether there are real differences between the batting performance of baseball players according to their position: outfielder (OF), infielder (IF), and catcher (C).

Guided practice: The null hypothesis under consideration is the following: Write the null and corresponding alternative hypotheses in plain language.

But https://openintro-ims.netlify.app/inference-many-means#fn1 states:

The average on-base percentage is equal across the four positions. The average on-base percentage varies across some (or all) groups

My student and I think that four should be three in the footnote.
