A tooltip reading 'Start' appears when I have no tooltip configured and when my pointer is not over the button #2531

Description

Describe the bug

A tooltip reading 'Start' appears when I have no tooltip configured and when my pointer is not over the OpenShell button. Or at least I take it that I have no tooltip configured: the small blank area below is for entering text, yes?

Area of issue

Taskbar

To reproduce

Unknown. But I think I saw the behaviour at boot, and/or when I minimised all windows.

Expected behavior

Given that I have no tooltip configured, I expect to see no tooltip when I hover over the start button. Even if I had a tooltip configured, I expect to see the tip only when the pointer is in the relevant place.

Open-Shell version

4.4.200

Windows version

Windows 11 Pro 25H2

Additional context

The problem began recently, after I installed a Windows update - and rebooted a few times. I have now disabled 'Replace start button' in the hope that this will solve the problem.

Thank you for your software.
