Describe the bug
I had the main window open (and no sub-windows). I entered a search term. Then - though I fear there may some intermediate steps that I forgot - the program froze; I managed to close the program by restarting explorer.exe. Here is a screenshot, showing the window that froze, when it was frozen, together - via a program bundled with AutoHotKey - some information about the frozen window.
Area of issue
Start menu
To reproduce
Unknown. But perhaps, sometimes:
- Left-click the tasbar icon.
- Enter a search term.
Expected behavior
No freeze.
Open-Shell version
4.4.199
Windows version
Windows 11 Pro - 25H2 (2009: 26200)
Additional context
I have used OpenShell, and indeed my current version of it (viz., 4.4.199) for a long time and never before encountered this problem.
But I see now from this issue template that I ought to try the latest version; and that version turns out to be 4.4.200. So I will try that one. Feel free to close this report in the meantime.
