Microsoft Office Submenu Limited to 10

Describe the bug

In Windows 10 Pro, the Microsoft Office Excel or Word showing a maximum of 10 items in Sub Menu. This behavior is hard-coded into the Start Menu and cannot be increased through any Settings.

What tweaking did you do?
For me Excel shows always only 10 items (also in Windows Start menu).
Other programs (Visual Studio) show more.

I guess we are limited by the height of start menu here. As we show jump lists in right half of start menu (so it has the same height as left half).
If you'll pin more items to start menu (make it higher) you should see more jump list items.

Your screen shot shows 25 items, not 30 as you wrote before.

I don't see any artificial limitation in code. We are simply obtaining at most MaxJumplists items using system COM object. And then try to fit them within the start menu.

You can enable logging and then the log should contain enumerated jump list items. Attach the log here and we can have a look what was actually enumerated.

So you changed DWORD value JumpListItems_Maximum in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced key to have more items in Explorer jump lists.

You can enable logging and then the log should contain enumerated jump list items. Attach the log here and we can have a look what was actually enumerated.

What about this?
From the log we should be able to see what (and how many) jump list items were actually enumerated.
