(Feature Request) Clipping indicate for mic recordings

Request for some sort of visual indicator showing the audio signal coming in from the internal mic. Even if it's red and shows clipping that's fine.

The microphone recording dialogue box could have a VU meter that would also show clipping, perhaps

Yeah the recording dialog box is where I was thinking too. Just something simple doesn't need to be full VU meter, but that would be nice too.
