(Feature Request) Enable sample preview while sequence is playing

This sort of a 2 part request. First part is to enable sample preview while the sequence is playing. Currently the sequence will stop.

The second part of the request is that I would like the ability to adjust sample preview volume. Maybe this can fit on the settings page.

Part 1: this is feasible and i’ve already implemented it as a proof of concept, I imagine itll be pretty straightforward to add this in

Part 2: this is possible but i sort of assumed it made more sense to just preview at the same volume as the piano. i would be curious if other people agree, maybe i’m wrong (off the top of my head i can’t think of any other software with a specific preview/audition volume, that isnt to say we can only operate off of precedent)

Generally sample volumes will be okay, but let's say you go into a folder of 1 shot drums. Usually all my hi hats and other 1 shots are all normalized and MUCH louder than they would ever be in a mix. So when previewed they can blast your ears.

Most software has this option. Renoise, Ableton, FL etc etc
