Context
Current README is functional but underwhelming for a product with 1000+ users. It doesn’t sell the product well or make contribution / setup as clear as it should be.
Problems
- Weak first impression / value proposition
- Feature list feels incomplete or poorly structured
- Setup / contribution steps can be clearer
- Missing or weak visuals (screenshots, badges, architecture overview)
- No clear “why Ossium vs alternatives” section
- Links and sections feel slightly outdated
Proposed Direction
- Stronger hero section at the top (one-liner + key value props)
- Clean feature list with short descriptions
- Better screenshots or short demo GIFs
- Clearer local setup + contribution guide
- Tech stack section
- Badges (stars, license, users, etc.)
- Keep it scannable — no walls of text
Acceptance Criteria
Notes
Priority: medium. Good first PR for anyone wanting to improve docs/UX.
