Disable the "Enable Voxy compatibility" option in the Sodium settings under the "Compatibility" tab. This mode is experimental and not yet complete.

Also, disabling the mod in the settings turned off the main light, but it didn’t turn off the light from the furnaces

This is interesting, I remembered that there were problems with the settings only for blocks after a while, but now I see that the same problem affected all settings.
I'll try to fix this in the next version of the mod. The only thing I can suggest now is to disable voxy compatibility and restart Minecraft (It's not a fact that this will help).
You can install an older version of the mod 0.2.0.
