Okay, I grabbed the latest example of plan9port from its github place and got it to build on WSlackware. It ends with this statement:
PLAN9=/home/jimkirk/plan9port
export PLAN9
PATH=$PATH:$PLAN9/bin
export PATH
And it wants me to add it to the profile function so it would be included. I confess I'm not sure where to turn to have that happen.
