Is this project dead?

I've been using this for 10 years and cannot imagine working without it. Given that there is no native version for VS2026 and last update was a year ago. Is this project dead?

It is definitely in low-maintenance mode. Personally, I don't use VS anymore. Plus, I don't have as much free time as I used to. When I find myself with some spare time, I usually like to do other stuff besides work on this extension. It is always a little bit annoying to fight the VS SDK APIs.

Irame used to do basically all the work, but I think he also has other priorities now.

So, development of this project is indeed stale. But I guess the extension still works and has plenty of features?!

Maybe I will get in touch with Irame and we can build the VS 2026 version.

I'm with you. I was able to fix VS2026 for myself. Here's the PR: #199

And the PR has now been merged, and the vsix is updated in the marketplace. There is no dedicated version for VS2026, rather, the 2022 version can be used, thanks to @CoreyShay
