The name Maverick represents an independent approach to standards, learning, and growth.
It does not mean rejecting existing standards simply because they already exist.
It means examining them carefully, understanding where they come from, and deciding whether they are worth accepting.
A local environment can easily become a reference point.
Over time, its average level may begin to look normal.
But what is normal nearby is not always what is sufficient.
I do not believe that a person should lower their standards just because the surrounding environment is comfortable with lower ones.
The level of the group I belong to should not automatically become the level I aim for.
