Hi, I can't answer the question directly, not because I don't want to but because it requires looking into things I don't know off-hand. Re-distributing has other aspects to it though, EJBCA is a registrered trademark so redistributing it would have to consider this, so LGPL is not the complete picture I believe. Feel free to contact me directly if you want to discuss these topics (including other people that have all answers). |

Dear Keyfactor,
first of all thank you for your work on EJBCA-CE released under LGPL.
I want to better understand the licensing situation of the Docker container that you publish at https://hub.docker.com/r/keyfactor/ejbca-ce/
I understand that you do not make available the Dockerfile used to build the container. On top, I have found that some scripts for bootstrapping in the container are not in the Github repo. What about the license of those files? Are they also under LGPL? Is the docker container also under LGPL?
I am asking as we intend to redistribute the docker container.
