From e610377c530f16d577c15ed27ea10b91a645d382 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?Marcos=20M=C3=A9ndez?= Date: Sun, 27 Sep 2026 08:54:39 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] debian: changelog 1.1.1+keel2, the unit slots the build host needs The two unit changes merged tonight (pull requests 4 and 5) are in share/product.mk, which reaches a build through the installed package and not through this checkout. The build host runs 1.1.1+keel1, whose product.mk applies every directory under unit.d and has no removelist, conf-vars or UNITS selection, so bt-layer's UNITS override is silently ignored there and a child layer would re-run a component's conf script. No code change: this is the version the host installs so that the merged behaviour is the behaviour a build gets. --- debian/changelog | 12 ++++++++++++ 1 file changed, 12 insertions(+) diff --git a/debian/changelog b/debian/changelog index df7a068..b572d56 100644 --- a/debian/changelog +++ b/debian/changelog @@ -1,3 +1,15 @@ +fab (1.1.1+keel2) trixie; urgency=low + + * Apply the units before the common removelists, and let a build select + which ones it applies through UNITS, so a layer built on a parent does + not run a component's conf script a second time. + * Let a unit carry a removelist, applied after its conf script, and name + the build-time variables its conf script reads in a conf-vars file, so a + component is the same three phases as a makefile fragment of the shared + tree. + + -- Keel Linux maintainers Sun, 27 Sep 2026 09:00:00 +0000 + fab (1.1.1+keel1) trixie; urgency=low * Honour SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH when set.
