From 10569282199189d436a16965d16328dd4bd843e1 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Tim Besard Date: Wed, 23 Sep 2026 15:15:25 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] Stop excluding device code from coverage GPUCompiler now records line coverage of device code when compiling it (JuliaGPU/GPUCompiler.jl#844, in every 2.x release), so kernels no longer show up as uncovered. Drop the COV_EXCL markers around device code and the src/device codecov ignore, so reports show which device code the tests actually compile. Markers around host code that tests can't reach, like the error description tables, stay. --- codecov.yml | 1 - src/mapreduce.jl | 4 ---- 2 files changed, 5 deletions(-) diff --git a/codecov.yml b/codecov.yml index 3c677cec..03955c15 100644 --- a/codecov.yml +++ b/codecov.yml @@ -1,7 +1,6 @@ coverage: ignore: - "lib/*/lib*.jl" - - "src/device" - "res/" status: patch: false diff --git a/src/mapreduce.jl b/src/mapreduce.jl index 7fa8a74d..e767e488 100644 --- a/src/mapreduce.jl +++ b/src/mapreduce.jl @@ -1,5 +1,3 @@ -## COV_EXCL_START - # TODO # - serial version for lower latency # - group-stride loop to delay need for second kernel launch @@ -135,8 +133,6 @@ function coalesced_mapreduce_device(f, op, neutral, Rreduce, Rother, R, As...) return end -## COV_EXCL_STOP - # Aurora LTS workaround: the NEO/IGC LTS stack miscompiles *strided* (non-coalesced) global # reads inside the reduction kernel, silently corrupting results whenever an input is read # along a non-contiguous axis (e.g. `a == transpose(b)`, `sum(transpose(x))`, `ishermitian`).
