Ability to control text on the login page

First off - we've just tried out the flags. They are amazing, I can't tell you how satisfied I am by you and your teams support, it is truly remarkable, and honeslty I doubt I will ever experience better support/collaboration on a project - and we don't even pay anything!! 🤯

Let me get to the case: With the flags update I saw the new login screen with the big buttons for logging in, signing up in a community and trying out our demos. This is definitely an improvement, and it got me thinking; Would it be possible to allow us to customize the text shown here?
If [System configuration -> Custom welcome page content] also had text options so that we could create something like this:

Great! Knowing you'd be pulling the nightly build to test the flags I thought of highlighting the login changes as, well, you can't miss them. Good to know you like the new design.

That sounds excellent as an improvement, and one we can easily support. As you suggested, we'll expose all these fixed texts as configurable under [System configuration -> Custom welcome page content].

By the way, I should mention something additional that may not be obvious. The ITB's theming options include new colour options for elements of the welcome page as well as, generally, the info alert boxes.

We use defaults if unspecified (e.g. the main login option uses the primary button colours) but you can tune these specifically for the welcome page. The reasoning behind this is that these colours are now more "in your face" in the welcome page so you may want to adjust them for a smoother UX.

I'll add to our backlog the extension for the configurable texts for the welcome page and I'll let you know when you can pull the update (we'll work on this fast so expect an update in a couple of days).

Hey @olw-medcom! The new configuration options are now available to pull in the latest nightly build.

As you suggested, all login option card texts are now configurable through the [System configuration] > [Welcome page content] section:

We don't currently cover adapting the information panel content at the bottom as this is not just a fixed text. In any case however this is already quite generic so I doubt you would want to change it (but do shout out if you feel otherwise).

Let me know once you've pulled and tried out the new options so that we can close the issue. Thanks!

One minor thing I noticed was that I wasn't allowed to save my changes if the welcome message text (the field that's always been editable) was empty of text. Regardless the issues is in my book done, so I'm fine with closing it here ^^

Ah that's an interesting catch! Indeed we previously required that this welcome message was always defined but with the new login cards it could be interesting to simply remove it. We'll make a minor update to this feature to allow you to remove it altogether (by just having the text empty as you tried to do).

Let's keep this issue open for now to track this last refinement. I'll let you know here when its ready to pull.
