Our target customers include many technical but non-security focused leaders (such as Directors of Engineering, DevOps, Product etc) that don't have the same knowleged of the industry and CISOs and others.
This leads to confusion around the difference between our solutions and Crowdsourced Testing, Managed Bug Bounty, SAST, SCA, etc.
While direct competitor comparisons might be the norm, they come with lots of legal concerns and require a very fine balance.
Solution
We should create comparison pages that encompase broader industry categories, including vuln scanning and DAST, but also non-overlapping areas.
In these comparisons we can still name competitors, but more broadly speak to the industry and how we compare.
