1.1 Projective Planar Homography

Let the camera image plane coordinate be $\mathbf{u} = [u, v, 1]^T \in \mathbb{P}^2$. The scene metric ground-plane coordinate is defined in world coordinates as $\mathbf{X}_w = [X_w, Y_w, Z_w, 1]^T \in \mathbb{P}^3$. Assuming a locally planar work zone within the monitored operational cell ($Z_w = 0$), the transformation reduces to a planar homography matrix $\mathbf{H} \in \mathbb{R}^{3 \times 3}$:

$$\mathbf{u} \sim \mathbf{H} \mathbf{X}_w = \mathbf{K} \begin{bmatrix} \mathbf{r}_1 & \mathbf{r}_2 & \mathbf{t} \end{bmatrix} \begin{bmatrix} X_w \ Y_w \ 1 \end{bmatrix}$$

$$\mathbf{K} = \begin{bmatrix} f_x & 0 & c_x \ 0 & f_y & c_y \ 0 & 0 & 1 \end{bmatrix}, \quad \mathbf{R} = [\mathbf{r}_1, \mathbf{r}_2, \mathbf{r}_3] \in \mathbb{SO}(3), \quad \mathbf{t} \in \mathbb{R}^3$$

For a 2D bounding box detection $B_i = [u_{\min}, v_{\min}, u_{\max}, v_{\max}]$, the ground-contact anchor point is the bottom-center coordinate:

$$\mathbf{u}_b = \left[ \frac{u_{\min} + u_{\max}}{2}, v_{\max}, 1 \right]^T$$

Applying inverse homography mapping $\mathbf{H}^{-1}$:

$$\begin{bmatrix} x' \ y' \ w' \end{bmatrix} = \mathbf{H}^{-1} \mathbf{u}_b, \quad \mathbf{x}_i^t = \begin{bmatrix} X_{w, i}^t \ Y_{w, i}^t \end{bmatrix} = \begin{bmatrix} x' / w' \ y' / w' \end{bmatrix}$$

1.2 Metric Kinematic State & Spatio-Temporal Graph

The kinematic state of agent $i$ at discrete time-step $t$ ($\Delta t = 0.1\text{s}$) is formulated in the metric ground-plane frame:

$$\mathbf{s}_i^t = \left[ X_{w, i}^t, Y_{w, i}^t, \dot{X}_{w, i}^t, \dot{Y}_{w, i}^t, \ddot{X}_{w, i}^t, \ddot{Y}_{w, i}^t, \theta_i^t, \dot{\theta}_i^t, L_i, W_i \right]^T$$

At each time-step $t$, a dynamic directed graph $\mathcal{G}_t = (\mathcal{V}_t, \mathcal{E}_t)$ is constructed:

  • Nodes ($\mathcal{V}_t$): Every active tracked agent $i \in {1, \dots, N_t}$. The historical observation sequence over window $T_{obs} = 3.0\text{s}$ (30 frames at $10\text{ Hz}$) is embedded via a Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU):

$$\mathbf{h}_i^t = \text{GRU}_{\text{enc}}\left( \left{ \mathbf{s}_i^{t - \tau} \right}_{\tau=0}^{T_{obs}-1} \right) \oplus \mathbf{e}_{\text{class}, i}$$

Where $\mathbf{e}_{\text{class}, i} \in \mathbb{R}^{16}$ is an embedding vector of the agent class.

  • Edges ($\mathcal{E}_t$): Directed edge $e_{ij}^t$ connects agent $i$ to agent $j$ if Euclidean distance $\Vert{}\mathbf{x}_i^t - \mathbf{x}j^t\Vert{}2 \le r{\text{graph}}$ ($r{\text{graph}} = 25.0\text{ meters}$).
  • Edge Attributes ($\mathbf{a}_{ij}^t \in \mathbb{R}^5$):

$$\mathbf{a}_{ij}^t = \left[ (\mathbf{x}_j^t - \mathbf{x}_i^t)^T, \Vert{}\mathbf{x}_j^t - \mathbf{x}_i^t\Vert{}_2, \frac{d}{dt}\Vert{}\mathbf{x}_j^t - \mathbf{x}_i^t\Vert{}_2, \text{LOS}_{ij}^t \right]^T$$

Where $\text{LOS}_{ij}^t \in {0, 1}$ represents unoccluded Line-of-Sight determined via 2D ray casting against static obstacle footprints.

1.3 Multimodal Probabilistic Forecasting & Collision Convolution

The network forecasts future trajectories over $T_{pred} = 5.0\text{ seconds}$ (50 steps at $10\text{ Hz}$) using a Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) with $K = 3$ modes:

$$P(\hat{\mathbf{Y}}_i^{t+1:t+T_{pred}} \mid \mathcal{G}_{t-T_{obs}:t}) = \sum_{k=1}^{K} \pi_i^{(k)} \prod_{\tau=1}^{T_{pred}} \mathcal{N}\left( \hat{\mathbf{x}}_i^{t+\tau} ,\middle\vert{}, \boldsymbol{\mu}_i^{(k), t+\tau}, \boldsymbol{\Sigma}_i^{(k), t+\tau} \right)$$

$$\boldsymbol{\Sigma}_i^{(k), t+\tau} = \begin{bmatrix} (\sigma_{x, i}^{(k), t+\tau})^2 & \rho_i^{(k), t+\tau}\sigma_{x, i}^{(k), t+\tau}\sigma_{y, i}^{(k), t+\tau} \ \rho_i^{(k), t+\tau}\sigma_{x, i}^{(k), t+\tau}\sigma_{y, i}^{(k), t+\tau} & (\sigma_{y, i}^{(k), t+\tau})^2 \end{bmatrix}$$

Let $\mathcal{A}_i(\mathbf{p}i, \hat{\theta}i^\tau)$ define the oriented spatial envelope of agent $i$. The joint collision probability $P{col}(i, j, \tau)$ between agents $i$ and $j$ at horizon step $\tau$ is computed by numerical integration over the intersecting spatial configurations $\mathcal{C}{\text{crash}}$:

$$P_{col}(i, j, \tau) = \sum_{k=1}^K \sum_{m=1}^K \pi_i^{(k)} \pi_j^{(m)} \iint_{\mathcal{C}_{\text{crash}}} \mathcal{N}\left(\mathbf{p}_i \mid \boldsymbol{\mu}_i^{(k), \tau}, \boldsymbol{\Sigma}_i^{(k), \tau}\right) \mathcal{N}\left(\mathbf{p}_j \mid \boldsymbol{\mu}_j^{(m), \tau}, \boldsymbol{\Sigma}_j^{(m), \tau}\right) d\mathbf{p}_i d\mathbf{p}_j$$

$$\mathcal{C}_{\text{crash}} = \left{ (\mathbf{p}_i, \mathbf{p}_j) \mid \mathcal{A}_i(\mathbf{p}_i, \hat{\theta}_i^\tau) \cap \mathcal{A}_j(\mathbf{p}_j, \hat{\theta}_j^\tau) \neq \emptyset \right}$$

$$\text{Time-to-Collision (TTC): } \tau_{col}(i, j) = \min \left{ \tau \in (0, T_{pred}] \mid P_{col}(i, j, \tau) \ge P_{\text{thresh}} \right}$$

PART VIII: Deployment, Governance & Container Configuration

8.1 Safety Governance Rules (.agent/rules/01-safety-governance.md)

# SENTINELZONE-AI SAFETY GOVERNANCE RULES

1. DETERMINISTIC LATENCY BOUNDS:
   - The entire edge cycle (Homography -> Tracking -> GATv2 -> Conflict Evaluation -> Relay) MUST complete in <= 120 ms.
   - Generative LLM/VLM calls are STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the real-time edge execution loop.

2. ZERO DATA LEAKAGE PARTITIONING:
   - Adjacent video frames or recordings from the same camera session MUST NOT cross train/test splits.
   - Cross-validation must strictly hold out entire sites or independent days.

3. CALIBRATION SAFEGUARDS:
   - If planar homography reprojection RMSE exceeds 0.15m for > 3.0s, the system MUST transition to CALIBRATION_UNSTABLE and inhibit false alarms.

4. FAIL-SAFE STATE:
   - In the event of process crash or unhandled exception, hardware relays MUST open (fail-safe siren activation).

8.2 Antigravity Build & Benchmark Workflow (.agent/workflows/build-and-eval.md)

# WORKFLOW: /build-and-eval

1. Check CUDA environment:
   nvcc --version

2. Run unit tests for homography and GNN tensor dimensions:
   python3 -m unittest discover tests/

3. Build TensorRT engine:
   python3 -m src.edge.export_tensorrt

4. Run zero-leakage comparative benchmark on held-out sites:
   python3 -m tests.evaluate_comparative

5. Launch FastAPI WebSocket broker and background LangGraph workers:
   uvicorn src.api.app:app --host 0.0.0.0 --port 8000
