How to reproduce
FlashForge Slicer (Orca-based). Affected version:1.7.15. Last known working version: 1.7.13. After updating to v1.7.15, applying the Paint Tool causes the slicer to generate unexpected internal walls and perimeters during slicing. This is not limited to painted areas. Once any paint is applied, additional internal walls/perimeters are generated in other parts of the model that have no paint at all
Open the same model in v1.7.15. Apply color using the Paint Tool... slice the model... compare the preview with the same project sliced in v1.7.13. Expected behavior: Applying paint should only affect color assignment. Toolpaths should remain clean and identical to v1.7.13, with no extra internal walls or perimeters. Actual behavior: After paint is applied, the slicer generates unnecessary internal walls and perimeters throughout the model, including unpainted regions, resulting in incorrect toolpaths
Actual results
After paint is applied, the slicer generates unnecessary internal walls and perimeters throughout the model, including unpainted regions, resulting in incorrect toolpaths. Additional info: The issue only occurs after using the Paint Tool. Same model and settings work correctly in v1.7.13. Attached screenshots compare both versions. Image 1,
Expected results
Applying paint should only affect color assignment. Toolpaths should remain clean and identical to v1.7.13, with no extra internal walls or perimeters.
