There isn't an android version at the moment, perhaps a future possibility. I'd definitely welcome it as a community contribution as well if someone is interested in starting it before me :)

Any updates from anyone starting to work on this? I was thinking about trying to give it a shot.

If there hasn't been any movement on this, I have a couple of questions.

1. I'd like to know if there's a feature list somewhere to ensure full feature parody?
2. What are the native features being implemented in iOS that will need to have another solution for android? (e.g., replace Alamofire with Retrofit for network requests)
3. Is there a preference on having a native android app versus consolidating both apps with React Native for example?

Instead of an android version, I would recommend an "installable PWA".

Installable PWAs can still get push notifications. One could self-host it and either use it from a browser with a bookmark or choose the install option to have it launch and behave like a native app. Chrome and Firefox on android both allow installing PWAs, as do Chrome and Edge on Windows, Mac, and Linux.

I'm looking at that, and that appears to be a proprietary, full solution with a server and an app. I think for this to work with FindMyCat, either the FindMyCat firmware would need to be made configurable so it can push data directly to the Petovik servers, or the traccar API would need to push data to the Petovik API servers. As far as I can tell, the Petovik Android app only works with Petovik's proprietary API servers and isn't something one can self-host.
