Module Version: I'm on 0.69. Trying to update to 0.7.6.1

Describe the bug
When attempting to update the module, I get the following error:

Error: [tokenmagic] The "path" argument must be of type string. Received an instance of Object

To Reproduce
Attempt to update the module

Expected behavior
The module should update, or say it is not compatible with v12.
