Water amount broken on some systems

For example, if I save with 2L water, the save editor indicates as 2E+09,
and 10L water, 1E+10.
Unless I change those E+xx thing, they all changes into -2E+xx whatsoever.
So I can't have water even I boil tons of water ingame.

My hunch is that this has something to do with system locale, didn't really look into it though.

Not just water, it hates fluids. Most if not all I carry and most of the liquids around me in an area change to -2B, aka FFFFFFFF signed. Issues arise, because there are no sanity checks in the game, you can't really do anything about a -2B liters of gas in a zippo fuel tin.

Weirdly, if edited to a sane amount that sticks, so, read error as opposed to write?

Fortunately, game doesn't crash, so destroying items or just leaving them is fine.

You can edit value itself back to normal. have same issue like author said, works with every fluids, looks like weird convert or data format reading?

I experienced this today as well. I don't recall editing my water quantity in the editor though. I used the editor to give myself a wool toque and wool mittens, saved the savefile, and when I got back in the game it showed me carrying over 3400 liters of water. Couldn't even drop it all in one place and couldn't move so much as an inch to get somewhere else to drop it. Edited it down to 3L in the save editor, game loaded fine.
