*Sexball* 30mm outside threaded shaft slot interfering with switch actuation

when the shaft slot from the bom is aligned with the switch from the hartk body at least on the nylon injected body I purchased it no longer depresses the switch which could cause a huge issue.

I've been looking for a dowel that isn't slotted without luck, has anyone found one or resolved this issue?

I think I will fill in the slot with solder and then file/sand it even with the surface.

curious if others have had this issue?

I have not run into that, it was something we were worried about but since it didn't happen at all in testing we figured it was safe, your switch nub must be small or the slot larger then normal. I'd just fill the slot, used JB or crazy glue maybe (depending on chamber temps) or even a solid core copper wire and hammer it flat. Make sure just the center of the slot so you don't cause issues on the edges that will hurt the bushing.

Thank you for the response, I went ahead and filled it with solder and its smooth and none of the edges catch on the switch nub at all anymore

perfect, I'm going to keep this issue open for others to see incase. Thanks for a photo of the fix it'll likely help others, but that's exactly what I was thinking.
