[BUG] Window size overwritten after update

Describe your issue

A tiny problem which always grinds my gears.

I set the window size as small as possible, because unigetUI doesn't need the full screen. Update button and check for updates are enough. (this picture is after the update because i couldn't believe that because of the update unigetUI changes back to its preferred window size).

i have no opinion aber the cartoon.

this is how unigetUI showed itself after the update.

i don't need that much space for unigetui. max. 25 % of the screen site is enough.

maybe i should have restarted the laptop before update, because i use energy saving mode a lot and this doesn't refresh stuff like registry or so.

i just tested it on a another pc. ok, it doesn't happen on every pc. but this pc (2nd one) before the update, unigetUI was back to it's normal window size and even half of it was hidden (right side), outside the monitor size.

had to drag it back where it should be (bottom left) and make it smaller.

i tested another laptop.

unigetui 2026.2.1 startet automatically after boot in systray (windows 11).

i opened it and it took half of my screen.

i changed the window size to as small as possible.

i didn't restart unigetui 2026.2.1 and updated to 2026.2.2 and my modified window size went back to the size unigetUI had been before (half of my screen, way too much).

i think resizing to the size a user prefers and restarting unigetUI immediately after that with precise documentation and logging is a good start to see if the window size problem is controllable or not.
