Examples of behavior that helps create a positive community include:
- communicating with empathy, patience, and respect;
- giving and accepting constructive, technically grounded feedback;
- acknowledging differing viewpoints and research experiences;
- respecting privacy, attribution, and the licenses of code and data; and
- focusing discussions on improving the project and supporting its users.
Unacceptable behavior includes harassment, discrimination, personal attacks, deliberate intimidation, publishing another person's private information, or other conduct that would reasonably make someone feel unsafe or unwelcome.
This policy applies in project repositories, issue and pull-request threads, project communication channels, and public settings where someone is representing Maia-2 or CSSLab.
Report conduct concerns privately to josephtang@cs.toronto.edu. Include enough context for the maintainers to investigate, but do not share sensitive personal information more broadly than necessary. Maintainers will review reports as confidentially and impartially as practical and may edit or remove content, issue a warning, restrict participation, or permanently ban a participant when warranted.
Retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith is not acceptable. Questions about this policy may be sent to the same address.
