station should clip to a mesh and filter by a field in station_dbase

Main issue here is that we should be able to filter by a user specified query/column in station_dbase and optionally clip to a mesh. this should be optional in case multiple runs are done on slightly different meshes and having a columnt be present helps even if it is nan.
